Wow, what a question...hahaha Your question is Lately your dog has been trying to mount the hogs and is this normal? Well, Im going to answer this two ways. First, if your insinuating that he is mounting the hogs as in "mounting them for a quicky", I would have to say, you might just have you a BIGGGGGGGGG problem.....hahaha If this is the case, I would try taking my cable leash and putting it doubled over on his ribs and get his mind right....smile If that didnt work, you might casterate the dog. In any case....I can truely say "NOPE, ive never had a dog with that problem" hahaha Now. My second way of thinking about the question is.....your dog is "climbing on the back" of the hog and trying to get him a bite of ear, back, neck etc.... once the hog is caught by the dogs or the bull dog. If this is the case, thats normal. I have a gyp that does that pretty regular, and a young gyp that did that on her first hog. I havent seen a need to break her from doing this. Shes actually a "nut" dog, but if his but is in the water or in the mud she simply is trying to get ahold somewhere.
