Dear T.J. ,

Thanks for writing.  Your question is "Is there any BETTER way to get
a dog to find hogs other than run him with other dogs?"

This one is basically a short and sweet answer, given in two ways.

1. If you have a dog that is A NATURAL at finding his own hog, that
will be probably the best way.   But I assure you, that a dog by
himself, that can naturally train himself are far and inbetween.  If
you ever get one, you have the makings of a good one.

2. If he cant train him self, the answer is "Nope".   If the dog cant
train him self, you have no other recourse to train him to finding
hogs other than by using a good training dog to train him with.   Its
a time proven tried and proved method.

If your dog cant smell a track, he either is not trying to use his
nose, or doesnt know how to use his nose, or is so hot nosed he has
no nose to use.

Thanks for the question,

Jim
